A little more about the blocked-exterior-in-hot-weather presentation, it doesn’t have to be from AC — it’s a classic Shang Han Lun presentation, long before AC. If a person tends to cold, or is just sweaty and clammy and sits in a breeze or fan, especially if they have a layer of fat, the skin can become cold while the center is hot (and the center already tends to be hot in pregnancy). So the skin of the neck or upper arms would be cool to the touch, and often there is restlessness, irascibility or vexation from internal heat. I see this often in the US where summer is hot and humid and air conditioning is arctic.
