Sorry missed this – what happened? I have in the past found it useful to use LU 7 with points such as LI 4 and BL 32 and SP 6 plus anything emotional or needed if deficient ect
The LU 7 comes from Deadman specifically for retention of a dead fetus .
I have often wondered if this related to the emotional aspects or maybe something to do with stimulating an immune response with LI 4
Giving a strong treatment then asking the woman to use acupressure every day for several days . Moxa can also be useful over the abdominal or lower back for cramping etc
Also important to check that she has been given instructions of when she would need to seek help she feels that the bleeding is excessive – or the bleeding becomes smelly is prolonged – usually its going through more than 2 pads in an hour or unable to get off the toilet due to the flooding- but she should have been instructions
