Kelli – great to read your introduction and feel your presence in the circle that is forming here in our virtual space! That adorable dog and cat photo I found at unsplash.com, so don’t know those two beauties personally, but the cat looks very much like my and Lorie’s beloved Professor, who left us exactly one year ago today after 22 years of being an amazing companion. What are your two cats’ names?
I admire your courage in building anew, and I find myself curious as to how your understanding of community has shifted. I know for myself that I have discovered a much deeper faith in the possibility of finding community through virtual connection than I ever thought was possible.
If our experience serves to inform how things go, I suspect that this community we are creating over the next year will persist beyond this program.
