I like that you are able to enjoy the best of both worlds – retreating to the country after being in town. I cannot think of a better name for a feral cat than Houdini! That sounds like the perfect way to describe feral cat behavior… unless there’s another story there? I am with you – total empath – so I appreciate how you are bringing this part here.
