Thank you for sharing this Benjamin. It’s a beautiful way of looking at entelechy, and helpful to have this image of the future me, the one who is not scared and lost and hungry and worried, pulling me into being, her negentropic force resisting my urge to dive deeper into despair. It can be hard to follow something that has no form — a calling, an inner voice, the soul, the divine, entelechy — but given a shape, a future self, an image, there is something to envision. I am the acorn and the oak tree. The future is already happening.
