Hi Judy, I also relate to your dilemma of having feet in different worlds with your training saying one thing and your lived experience saying another. I struggled with this in an either/or way for a long time thinking I had to forfeit my scientific linear thinking way to allow the development of a heart centered intuitive path forward. Along the way, I discovered both were useful, but my scientific linear mind was best relegated from the driver’s seat to the toolbox to be brought into play when useful.
I also agree with Lorie that skepticism is healthy and useful. A Divine Being named White Eagle once said to me: Doubt is the brother of fear and Skepticism is the brother of Truth.
