    Dear Vicki,

I am inhaling my Black Spruce essential oil as I ready your post. I am there with you in the forests of childhood, under the great cathedral of the trees, pine needles soft beneath our feet, green spirits everywhere.

I am touched by the poetry and by the sweetness of connection you express, how the oil brings you “home” to ancestors, roots, deep connections.

So much beauty, but I particularly loved this line:

Black Spruce feels like my Grampa: tall, strong and solid. Calm. Handsome. Deeply connected to Indigenous wisdom.

Black Spruce is indeed a “Grandfather” … standing steady in the midst of the storm. 🌲🌟
