Benjamin, I just wanted to say thank you for this deeply thoughtful response. It is the beginning of a healing for me to have my words/back story received in such an embodied way. I find as I respond to both you and Lorie that there is a deep well of tears because I feel very seen and very vulnerable. I do feel the vessel of safe space here and am hopeful I can sit with the discomfort of whatever this energy trapped in my throat might need to loosen and heal and express for the sake of me, my family, and my patients.
