Thank you for this Kari – I did in the lock down time here in NZ post out some Silicon cups for a women to use to help clear the milk ducts – it wasn’t mastitis at the time but an continuation blocked feeling from one breast that she felt wasn’t draining properly no matter how she feed – I was also asking her to use acupressure GB 21 and massage CV 17 and stoke her breast towards her nipple as she feed – On follow up she felt it helped.
When I shared the silicon cups withe midwives ( so they could use for women with lower back pain – one of the first comments was about maybe looked like they could be used to help to assist expressing ! But no feedback on that so far!
