Agreed, Sharon. It was fascinating hearing Dr Orbuch’s perspective. I wish we had more time with her. One thing I wanted to discuss is aftercare for patient post-surgery. 2 of my patients who have had endo surgery are told they are basically fixed. They just need to heal and not worry about Endo anymore. My concern is the underlying estrogen dominance. Don’t we still have to address the hormones after surgery? From what I gathered from Dr. Orbuch, proper endo surgery can last 5 years and from what my patients have told me, their surgeon was not that concerned about hormones thereafter.
