I have a few questions…
How many weeks was she when she went into labor?
Did labor initiate on its own?
It sounds like your patient had ROM at home 24 hrs before being admitted to hospital…is that correct? I know here we go in at 24hrs post ROM if birth isn’t imminent – was wondering if this is the reason you went in to hospital?
Was labor progressing normally aside from the baby not descending and was your patient having good strong ctx when laboring at home? It sounds as though ctx were very weak.
Did your patient have any quiet and privacy in the house? (I only ask out of curiosity bc I have seen home births with houses full of family + support people coming and going and sometimes baby just won’t come down with all those people about, especially if the birthing person is anxious and LR qi yu to begin with).
What was baby’s weight at birth?
