YES, what an important and timely topic, as there’s every reason to think that at least in some regions we will see more terminations using M&M administered by telemed, which can leave people waiting or unsure if the event is complete. I’ve worked with several different versions of this scenario, and agree that retained material in a deficient patient can just present as bleeding that doesn’t stop when it should, no fever and little local tenderness/hardness, hard to differentiate from deficiency itself. I’d love to see you work on this — but of course we probably need to tread carefully about how we present the medicine in relation to this incendiary topic. Let’s discuss in our meeting tomorrow ok?
