I just happened be in communication with a CNM I work with when I saw your post. I’m in the U.S.
She says she knows of no guidelines from major orgs or studies showing that pg people who have recently recovered from covid should be induced at 39 weeks.
We have a major surge happening here in my area. About half of the people giving birth at my hospital right now have had covid and I have many, many pregnant patients at this point who have had covid in the last few months during their pregnancies (most in the 2nd or 3rd trimester). No one in my area is being induced solely for that reason if all is otherwise well.
I would have her ask the midwife for the guideline or study that recommendation is being based on. I would be curious.
