This is extremely useful Sarah. I am somewhat new to working in this area but work with a local birth center so see at least 3-4 women weekly between 37-41 weeks. You made such great points in this text that I need to read and re-read some of your techniques to remind myself of directing our points with intention vs. flooding with multiple points causing confusion. I am not as familiar with Japanese style acupuncture but like this idea of coming back to root and branch in the treatments resonates with me.
