Christine – a rich dream, and really great to read your reflections (thanks for including them) and also the events that transpired with friends following the dream. You write, “Surprise by turning the right knob.” in your reflections, but you hadn’t specified the “rightness” of the knob in the dream. Did you mean to right “… turning the right knob” or “… turning the knob right?” The knob has a magical quality to it in that it makes the floor fall out, and when you turn it again the floor is once again beneath you. Curious about your associations to the knob.
I can’t help reflecting on your response to Stephanie’s dream, and then this fall from the top floor (conscious mind) bathroom to the large pool (unconscious) and how the dream might be inviting that same movement in you.
