    Hi Erin,

It was really nice to meet you in a breakout room yesterday. I love your Stevie Nicks hair/glasses combo and your commitment and passion for working with teens facing mental health challenges. I am really looking forward to learning more about your work throughout this year and how this alchemical process might inform it.

Gah! Alana! What you are synthesizing for your PhD makes my heart sing!!!! So glad you have come out of hiding and are at the helm of your alchemical cauldron. It sounds so beautiful. Perhaps you were the echo that brought Dr. Vasant Lad into our opening space yesterday 🙂 Happy birthday, yesterday and every day. Glad to be in this stream with you!

    Hi Ellen,

Your explanation between the English interpretation of eternal student vs. the Dutch expression of someone who just cannot stop studying made me laugh because I am both of those 🙂 Even if they are one in the same. I really enjoyed reading all the alchemical pieces of the puzzle that brought you here and look forward to learning more.

Hi Ann, I just saw that we are in the same lab group for the beginning and I feel really moved by the honest way you are showing up in your crossroads. I am looking forward to getting to know you more and understand the unique elements of your mesa, some of them I feel coming through in your share. I am so sorry about Oscar, it is one of the deepest griefs to lose our animal companions so I am holding that in my heart. Thank you for all you shared.

Oh Amy! You’re description of this area (I live in the Catskills, just the mountain range over) makes me want to jump up and down and say yes yes yes!! “This is the cauldron for my healing and my becoming.” Such a beautiful statement, it really just felt like medicine to read that. Thank you!

    Hi Christine,

What a beautiful poem. It really draws me in and makes me so curious for this book you are writing about your apprenticeship with grief. Thank you for sharing your process with your mother’s passing. I am a lactation consultant and am really deeply fascinated by and called towards grief work.

Are you familiar with the work of Martin Prechtel, Francis Weller, Sobonfu Some, or Maladoma Some? These are some of the people I consider my deepest teachers and guides in the watery depths of grief, just curious if you have crossed paths with any of their work. Looking forward to this journey together!

Oh Kate! I feel such a resonance with your inquiry around accessibility and sustainability. I feel really excited to dream into this with you and everyone else that may be churning this over too. I’m already inspired by what Lorie shared about her mentor’s thoughts on this. Thanks for bringing this up! Thanks also for adding your pronouns, it is something I really value knowing and it inspired me to go back into my intro and do the same. Looking forward to this journey!

oops!! Liz Roseman, I think I just replied to Benjamin on your post. Hahaha, my technologically impaired cards are showing 🙂 Yes! I’ll find a snap to share, but Lupe definitely introduced herself last night when she waltzed in and sat on me and stared into the zoom room. Nice to connect with you this weekend.

Thanks Benjamin!! I woke up early Sunday and got so inspired and moved and started really feeling connected with everyone through what they shared.

I’ll look for a picture of the whole crew! Thanks for asking.
