IVF Question
I have a relatively new patient (43yo) who was pregnant with twins and miscarried at 14 weeks – there was a blood clotting issue. I’ve started seeing her after the miscarriage.
She has started with a new fertility clinic (there were a number of issues with the previous fertility clinic) – she had a retrieval last week – 10 eggs retrieved, 8 matured, 8 fertilized normally – today found out only one made it to blast (7 day – Day 6 – 4BB) so she’s pretty disappointed. Her question is – she’s going to do another retrieval – would it be better to take a break for a month or go ahead and do a retrieval with her next cycle (She did retrieval last Thursday – July 25th)
