Thank you, Lorie, for your response. Your reframing of my dilemma is very helpful. Up until now that has been easier said than done, but I do feel something shifting in me. I have been working with someone I respect on this whole issue and it’s making a difference.
I also appreciate knowing that you identify with this issue and that it bore creative fruit for you.
I have been working on a book proposal for the past 6 months. It’s almost complete. The next step will be to find an agent and publisher. That process will coincide with the Wood Element season. I had not linked my process with the season. That feels meaningful and supportive to think about that connection.
I appreciate your reflections on my process. I feel like the timing of this mentorship is auspicious for me.
