Lorie! This is an incredible coincidence!!
Thank you for sharing this. I’ve been away and off grid in the wilds of California and just yesterday I noticed myself drawn over and over again to the sweet peas, on the side of the road and growing abundantly by my vacation cottage… I didn’t have any internet access to look them up so I sat with them and meditated and did an active imagination. This morning I gathered some of their flowers and made my flower essence.
This post makes me so happy and resonates deeply.

Hello Liz, I enjoyed reading this and can relate very much to the efforts you’ve made with your Council. I especially enjoyed the vision quest democratic process 🙂
In fact, the more PM’s I read the more it seems we’re all up against and looking at different aspects of this Adversary. Who are it’s members and how did it appoint itself????!!! Whatever this is, it’s awake day and night, constantly shape-shifting in order to keep one from stepping into their power. I’m so curious to follow your experience and see what unfolds.

Thank you dear Lorie for this container and reminding us back to the map of the cyclical nature built into everything. The mention of this TS Elliott poem always moves me, and also brought to mind the book, The Alchemist, and the remembering that what we need we had all along…

I just wanted to drop you a little love note after our lab group. I didn’t get to fully express how poignant your prima pateria was, and how much reverence I have for that dark place of despair and despondency. You are mighty to hold it up to the light for your family. There’s a beautiful idea by Joanna Macy that I’m going to attempt to paraphrase. It goes something like ~ is it us, healing ourselves and our ancestors? Or is it them, nurturing us into existence until the conditions are right for this prima materia to emerge…. It helps me remember how much unseen support I have to call upon.

The veil of unworthiness that blocks us from our Buddha nature, the muck and light of the season, and the glorious restoration of the Emperor. Really beautiful share, and invitation to be seen.

Thank you immensely for this feedback. Benjamin, it’s hard to articulate an answer to your question. I’ve mostly disentangled from being affected by media… but there are so many openings through which destructive thoughts can get in (motherhood is a big one, well-meaning feedback from other healers that’s covered in their own goo is another one) and it’s challenging to parcel through what’s me and not me. This exact question, and my own extra senses opening up led me to reiki and then Energy Medicine about a year ago and the questions are mounting 🙂
Lorie, your reflection helped so much and is spot-on. It’s like this possession-embodiment dance. This is a topic that really lights me up too. I wonder if we’ll have space for it this year and am excited to learn more. I’ll look into the Flower Essence, and thank you for the reminder that smells can help put me back in my body. I have an energy medicine practice of putting myself back in my body also in these moments, and am deep in the practice of building my energetic boundaries, but it feels like the further I go these “oppositional forces” can feel very powerful. Thank you for using the word “possession.” It pointed me back to my Acupuncture tools and I’m drawn to the Ghost points and Worsley’s Dragons protocols. Do you have a 5-elements reference that you recommend when working with these?

Thank you all for the responses. Benjamin, your experience lit up a few things for me, mainly what a gift it is to do this work in community and know that in completely different parts of the continent we’re all doing the intense work to touch gold/source. Your experience of the column almost mirrored an experience I had with a very special client the following day. And the words, “but having glimpsed the gold under the mud, there is no stopping.” I felt the resonance of a kindred spirit and just the reminder needed to continue forward ardently.
