    Wow, Kari,

These are amazing photos! And that’s an interesting question about the difference in al kimia; when I did some shamanic work in Lake Atitlan in Guatemala (home of 3 powerful and active volcanoes), the Mayan shamans said that doing energy work near volcanoes was always very powerful (even forceful) and manifested more quickly than in other areas, so I suspect that your initial thought is right on. It seems like, when we reach the point of trauma either personally, collectively or ecologically, it typically demands more immediate action. Maybe the dark soil that is thrusted up in the trauma is more available for us to work on without having to unbury it more. Thank you for sharing.

  • Amy, thank you for sharing…it feels like we’ve walked similar paths, and it makes my heart happy to hear that you are resilient, persevering and continuing on with your new life with your boys and your garden and your sheep and a newfound practice. I am excited to be in this Practice at the Crossroads work with you.

    Lorie,

What a beautiful reminder that we are surrounded by many other dimensions of being that are simultaneously present. That all we have to do is ask to be connected to these allies, ancestors and spirits and tune into that frequency. I have heard that this allies are constantly and ever-present, but that in order for them to offer their help, we must first ask.

I loved the conversation we had in class about the archetypes and how much more powerful these allies can be if we honor them as spirits, and not just tools for our use.

Thank you again for your teachings, for inviting us and for sharing this medicine. 🙏

Thank you for your clarification, Benjamin- you’re right on.

Judy, I hope this is not offensive (I definitely remember being taken aback as Heiner was speaking about this). It is the jerk/asshole aspect of our psyche that is willing to set the strong boundaries and cut away anything that is not useful or does not belong. And with that kind of energy: the unabashed, unapologetic “NO!”. As Benjamin said, it is framed not only as a positive aspect, but also very necessary. Without the large intestine (literal or energetic), we absorb toxins and hold on to things that we are not meant to. The large intestine filters out what is useful for us and pushes out what is not. Please, please know that I am making general references here and just passing along information about the organ official that resides on the pointer finger channel. I hope this helps clarify.

My uneducated understanding on losing a body part is that the energetic quality still very much persists. Maybe Benjamin or Lorie have a better explanation than I.

    Sending good thoughts your way,

    ✨ Babbie

    Dear Lorie,

Thank you so much for your beauty, for the wisdom and joy and presence that you offered to each and every one of us this weekend. It seems like you are doing an amazing job surrendering your fiery will to the Tao, and I look forward to hopefully learning how to do the same and with the same amount of grace.

I’m so honored to be a part of this mentorship, and grateful for the opportunity to sit at your feet and learn. Thank you.

    Good morning, Vicky.

Thank you for your reply. I love your mantra, and hope it helps you navigate through what’s happening in Ontario. I resonate with you when you say you can’t believe it has come to this, but can also believe it very much.

I do believe it is time now for us to find and connect with our Tribe, and love what Lorie said about being grateful for the technology platforms that allow us to connect even though we’re thousands of miles away. Do you know this poem “The Hopi Elder Speaks”?

“You have been telling the people that this is the Eleventh Hour,

now you must go back and tell the people that this is the Hour.

And there are things to be considered . . .

    Where are you living?

    What are you doing?

    What are your relationships?

    Are you in right relation?

    Where is your water?

    Know your garden.

It is time to speak your Truth.

    Create your community.

    Be good to each other.

And do not look outside yourself for the leader.”

Then he clasped his hands together, smiled, and said, “This could be a good time!”

“There is a river flowing now very fast. It is so great and swift that there are those who will be afraid. They will try to hold on to the shore. They will feel they are torn apart and will suffer greatly.

“Know the river has its destination. The elders say we must let go of the shore, push off into the middle of the river, keep our eyes open, and our heads above water. And I say, see who is in there with you and celebrate. At this time in history, we are to take nothing personally, Least of all ourselves. For the moment that we do, our spiritual growth and journey comes to a halt.

“The time for the lone wolf is over. Gather yourselves! Banish the word struggle from you attitude and your vocabulary. All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration.

“We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.”

    — attributed to an unnamed Hopi elder
    Hopi Nation
    Oraibi, Arizona

Vicky, I’m excited to be in this space with you and look forward to connecting with you soon.

Thank you, Liz. It was so nice to connect with you over the weekend and share some space in the group visioning session.

I get caught up in the craziness of what’s happening, too, and it takes a concerted effort to get myself out into Nature and reconnect to help me remember that we can choose a different version. I love that you have a Kali tattoo, and am looking forward to us collectively conjuring up a new possibility.

    Have a beautiful day. ✨🌱

Thank you, Erin. I think I’m ready for the “float” section of the river and less of the Class IV/V rapids, but I’m not sure if we get to decide that. 😉 Nevertheless, it’s nice to know there are other people in the river and I hope we can make it into a beautiful adventure. I’m looking forward to sharing this alchemical space and getting to know you!

    Hi, Judy.

I’m sorry to hear about your daughter and hope she heals quickly.

The index finger correlates with the Large Intestine meridian, which is coupled with with Lung and is the element of Metal. The emotion associated with the element is grief. Heiner Freuhauf says that there is a very important place both in our bodies and in our world for the “asshole”; it’s the part that is responsible for clearing away, or cutting (as with a metal sword) what does not belong and allows us to set strong boundaries.

    Lauren,

Thank you so much for bringing and offering your gifts of Tarot. It’s beautiful to see the alignment of the cards with the work we are embarking upon, and I appreciate having this as a lens to see through and work with. ✨🙏
