Lauren – thank you for your rich introduction, and for providing the family photo and your basic astro profile! I was able to detect qualities of your Cancer/Scorpio/Virgo chart signature in the various aspects you shared of your life. I love that you are incorporating Tarot into your treatments … the first time I’ve heard of that particular alchemy! Lorie and I appreciate your taking your time to share with all of us more about your life, and look forward to working together throughout the coming year.

Alice – thanks so much for your introduction and for the photo you included. I love seeing you with your husband and daughter. And brava for following your intuition in registering for the Yin Cultivation retreat with Sabine, Lillian, and Brenda. How wonderful that you were able to discover the value of Feminine/yin wisdom to the medicine. I trust our year ahead will continue to deepen that understanding and will offer you new tools to support and enhance your own personal work and your work with patients. LSL!!! How exciting it is to read your introduction amongst the others for this upcoming mentorship, and to imagine into the possibilities of our embarking on this adventure again … and the adventures it will inspire in our lives! Thanks for sharing so openly about who you are, and especially what keeps you up wailing at night. As I open my eyes and continue to wake up in ways that I can, there is all the disheartening corruption, greed, and divisiveness of the world that keeps grabbing for out attention. But I am discovering with much delight that there is also another reality, another world being born, and I believe that those of us who want to midwife this new world are finding one another, connecting, and lighting fires of inspiration. Our hope is that this year ahead and the program that we are facilitating will offer the fuel for such a fire.
It’s a great joy to have you coming along for the journey with us … again! And good boy/handsome Samson accompanying you!

Amy – thanks so much for your introduction and the vulnerability you’ve shared. I’m really glad you’ll be joining us in the coming year as you navigate your own personal crossroads. As unfamiliar and unsettling as it can be to embrace and celebrate “not knowing,” Lorie and I are going to encourage that attitude as we embark on our work together. We’re grateful to you for naming this quality that seems always present when we truly surrender to crossroads in our lives. We look forward to working together!

Babbie – thank you for your introduction! As I read, I felt myself traveling on the journey that has been your life and it felt like a good ride! I am especially grateful for this paragraph, “The Hopi, Achuar, Kogi, Aztec, Mayan all spoke of this time as the new beginning of a 50,000 year cycle, a move into the Fifth Dimension, the one where the world turns upside down (Pachacuti) and the Spirit Bird finally unfurls her left wing and can fly, instead of in a continuous downward spiral of conquest, greed and control, into a straight line of the feminine principles of Unity, Connectedness, Compassion, Kindness, Christ Consciousness.” Just beautiful … and a BIG YES!

Yes, Liz, so so important that we keep reminding one another that we are actually headed in a positive direction, no matter how bad it can look and feel. Gebser wrote about this phenomenon in ‘The Ever-Present Origin,’ claiming that every time consciousness has mutated in the history of humankind, it has been accompanied by a regressive longing by some to return to an old way of being. I think that is what we are seeing in the world now … a regressive longing back to inefficient ways of expressing the Magical, Mythical, and Mental consciousness structures.
