Hi everyone, it’s sweet to be here. My name is Ellisia, I go by Ellie, and use she/her pronouns. I’ve been in practice 6+ years, with the past 3 of them spent in Eugene OR. As an HSP and empathic sort, I’m also regularly trying to reconcile my lonely-practitioner-self and my happy-hermit-self. 😉
Two years ago I endeavored to study the Hakomi & META methods, in Portland. The pandemic rearranged our training, but I still gained quite a lot, professionally and personally. I *just* started to grok the full capacity of what we were doing, when the training completed. Wanting to keep sails high, I landed on Yvonne’s mentorship. Her work is a resource in my current practice, so this felt like a very nourishing and congruent next step. The soma carries so much, and I am excited to connect with patients on this level, but a lot of the time I feel like I’m learning along with them… ! So arriving here, I am really looking forward to studying and connecting, deepening into subtle work.
