Thanks so much for clarifying Yvonne, I really look forward to getting to work on this now. I am gutted to have missed this office hour but look forward to the video.

Thanks so much Melinda. There is definitely a cultural and generational issue at play with this particular woman. The Irish Catholic Mammy has had a lot to put up with here in Ireland until only recently.

    Hello Yvonne and everyone,

I have been practicing Acupuncture for 10 years here in the west coast of Ireland. I started the clinic in a recession and in a remote area that had no concept of Traditional Chinese medicine, so I am very proud to still be here and to have become an essential service in my community. I am delighted to have found one of my purposes in life after years in marketing and event management where I felt lost and very much an imposter.

I treat a wide variety of conditions most of which are pain related and I could not help but notice in the past few years how there had to be more to ‘pain’. I also became very conscience of the fact that in many cases I am attracting patients presenting with issues that to some degree are either triggering for me or for which I can deeply identify. I began my investigation into Psycho Emotional Pain and Trauma nearly two years ago in studying with Transcending Trauma through the 8X with Sohial Farzam and through him was introduced to your work Yvonne, your book lives on my desk and I refer to it frequently. I was beyond excited when this mentorship came up, it’s kizmit! Now is the time.

I am very much enjoying it so far and look forward to rest of the program, 2021 is going to be great! I look forward to getting to know you all better.

    Hi Yvonne

I believe I have mistakenly received the feedback for another student.

    Regards

    Hi Yvonne and everyone!

I won’t be able to attend this weeks business hour as it’s at 2am my time but I thought you would like an update.

Further to my case as presented above, we had a treatment today and I decided we would work on her Kidney Luo instead of her knees. I did not go into the why’s of the treatment, she was just really happy to have her feet treated as she is embarressed by the blood vessels there. I needled Rn15, Sp10, Ki,3,4,5,6, all the Ki points bled some more than others. We were talking about everything and nothing when the subject of increased domestic violence during the pandemic came up. At this point she disclosed that her father had been a very violent man and she was terrified of him growing up. This is not something she has ever revealed outside her family. I then explained to her the function of the kidney luo and that her body has been protecting her all this time, she was a little emotional but pulled herself up. I decided to let her rest for 30 mins after and she slept.

I intend to release more luo in our treatment next week and I may concentrate on the Spleen then.

What an incredible learning and experience! Thank you.

I really admire Gabor Mate so I went All Access Pass 🤓😅 I’m looking forward to the year’s access, as Mrs Large Intestine Luo, I do tend to take on more than I can chew so I thought I’d better spread out all this knowledge to ensure I can take it all in 😉
