Ellen, I so appreciate you taking the time to write this piece of work out and to share it with us. I really feel and hear your voice coming through and I appreciate it very much. I also like that you feel safe enough here to express your frustration and to assert your voice. I particularly resonated with what you wrote here, “For me metal is the treasurer of the earth. She is the gatekeeper of the diamantes inside, the cinnabar and the essence of life. She is the one who connects the outside world with the inside, the spirt with the essence. Therefore for me she the mother of righteousness.” How absolutely beautiful. this is a meditation in itself, and really sinks into my body felt sense, the essence of metal. For me it amplifies this balancing the scales aspect of metal. As I lean into this and sense into the field around this lead, I wonder what piece of this can we be leaned into as resource and resilience. alchemy is so much about working with rather than ridding of. I wonder if changing the monetary system can begin with how we view it. if we viewed every “transaction” as sacred, every exchange as if we were handing each other a precious gemstone. this changes the quality and perhaps over time the perception of money, thus the perception of value and how we value each other and our the planetary resources. I do so believe that inner work leads to outer change. I wonder if applying this righteousness inward, to valuing our own gifts, offerings and Self (s), will reflect and ripple outward to shift the way others value not just their money, but time, gifts and inner worlds. I would love to stay in conversation with you around this dynamic topic and how to hold it as alchemists.

this is such a great wood convo – I love that you brought this tree in and your conversation around it. so great.
I see it as doing exactly what it needs to do to keep growing. not letting anything get in its way. total determination!

Yes, Benjamin! I would LOVE to hear what other people have to say about how alchemy is integrating for them both in themselves and working with others. I can’t get enough of this conversation!
I love what you said yesterday about keeping things moving around the cycles and spirits. It deeply resonated with me as I recently had a very embodied awakening of how much this work is about the relationship between all of the elements and spirits, my soma and all of the other beings and archetypes all around us all of the time. It was a huge epiphany on a body level rather than a sort of heady knowledge. its was like, OH! AHA! I also had a little bit of a “duh” moment but then realized that it was just landing in me in a deeper and different way. thank you also for the reference and reminder of this fabulous article – so helpful to go back to it!

thank you for sharing your writing, Christine! As I take it in, it is clear that it comes directly from your soul and the beauty of your heart. Reading inspires me to stay devoted to my own. A deep bow for that! I look forward to reading more. There is also a sense that as you are held by the tree, the tree pours into you, informing your words and process. The interconnectedness of your beings supports your expression.

Hi Ann, it is so lovely to receive your voice and writing here, and I so appreciate you sharing this with us. I am so grateful to be part of the Shame Eaters, and I agree, we are mighty! I appreciate your trust in sharing about your grief, and how slippery it can be to endure the ebbs and flows of the greiving process, which, like alchemy, unfolds in its own time. I am here to lean into anytime, and I look forward to learning more as our journey together continues.

Dana, I am so moved by your honest, beautiful share. I deeply thank you for having the courage and resilience to share this with us. I, too, am sending pink light to your little girl as you bring her close and sit next to her. This simple act is so profound and allows us to begin to access our wholeness; weaving all the pieces together with radical tenderness and deep caring. all in its own right timing.

Ditto Kari! Would love to hear your thoughts on how it’s unfolding for you 🧡

Thank you for your ever-illuminating words, Lorie. The basic principles are like luscious, radiant, comforting friends to return to again and again. I marvel that no matter how long I am on this alchemical journey, coming back to the basics lends more insight and meaning each time. I sing praises to alchemy!

Kari, it is so beautiful to read about your work and experiences here. I am so happy that you are feeling a resonance with the AE and the alchemy is clearly taking root in you and expressing itself through the myriad levels of being in and running a practice. I have also been through many ebbs and flows of being so busy I can barely keep up and then weeks of multiple cancellations. it is unnerving for sure, and , when I can lean back and trust tao, as you are, the right beings show up. As I am emerging yet again into another incarnation of my alchemical journey, the same thing is happening now. I have a large group of patients who are doing much better. They are transforming themselves and beginning to space out their treatment more, which is the goal! I have about 10 patients all doing this at once. it is a true reflection of our alchemical work, and also a bit like, wow, what do I do now? haha, I laugh. The space is actually quite lovely and needed when I embrace it as what I have been asking for, which is more space to write. Cheers to an ever changing landscape and to continue moving with devotion, to keep showing up, willing to be present to the mystery.

Thank you for your follow up thoughts and notes, David, this is wonderful. I like the encouragement to review the nuts and bolts of applying the actual points and needles. It is such a gentle insertion on the needles, I found it also helpful to practice this on a piece of soft fruit, like a peach or plum. It definitely took me some time to get the minimal needle insertion that, for me, is like a feather floating in water. I also appreciate the affirmation with the heat release patterning on the skin. Thank you again for your helpful and affirming reflections.

I can always count on you, silver muse, to meet me in the fissures and “spin words into action” through our divine song. Thanks for always being wiling to dance in the mud with me!
