We have a start date of 4/21. I am so excited and looking forward to figuring out new ways to make acupuncture more accessible to as many posatpartum people as possible-
We decided to use a sliding scale with a suggested donation range from $10-$40. The money will be going to the clinic for letting me use the space- There is a lot of room for growth and I am excited about the new possibilties.
Looking forward to MAMPS 2024!!

I don’t know the definitive answer but I was in the same position last year- They granted me an extension so that I could complete the coursework. I think that it was for 6 weeks or so but the deadline was clear. They are very helpful at Healthy Seminars 🙂

I will post this study on our website-
She seems to be doing okay so far- Lots of fatigue and a lingering cough but she seems to be through the worst of it. Fingers crossed that she has no lingering symptoms or placental issues.

I did see that lecture- I guess I am wondering if there is any current research? I didn’t see any when I was looking.
Unfortunately she now has COVID, so I am hoping that she and the baby will be okay.

I just got a reply and MAMPS is now listed on the application as an affiliate organization, so hopefully the process will go more smoothly for the new applicants-
I definitely agree with Sarah that it is worth being a part of!

I am sorry to keep missing the sessions! I am getting to know you all through watching the conversations though 🙂
Reagrding the free year and not taking the test for OBAA- I had to do both this summer-
I initially applied and put that I was a graduate of MAMPS and was sent the test to take and when I passed, I was sent an invoice to pay-
I sent an email to Emilie to see if there is a way to streamline the membership process for MAMPS graduates.

Hi Sarah!
I will suggest this to her- She is experiencing DMER (dysphoric milk ejection reflex) and that is why she is choosing to not breast feed- I have encountered DMER twice in the past couple of months and I am wondering if anyone else has experience supporting new parents going through this-

Not a refund but Emilie said that I won’t have to pay for 2024- I told them that I was okay with paying for membership-
I was just hoping to streamline the process for MAMPS graduates moving forward and they were so helpful!!
