Sorry for any confusion- the first post went out last week. We will be discussing IVF protocols, including luteal phase stimulation and a new pre-transfer protocol for patients with endometriosis.
I know this is last minute, but it has been a challenge to secure a date and when she made herself available, I jumped at the opportunity.
I hope to see as many of you as can attend later today!
Warmly,
Laura

The instructions for booking are in the “housekeeping” forum. Booking is through my website, http://www.mothernurturela.com, or by calling my office: 310-598-5209. Please don’t email me to book, it’s better to go through the online portal or to speak with my assistant. Thank you!

InstructorJanuary 29, 2023 at 8:56 pm in reply to: Cancelled transfer d/t “bubbles” in endometrial liningI would be concerned about a uterine factor in this case. Possibilities could be endometriosis, submucosal fibroids, or scar tissue. “Bubbles” are highly suggestive of fluid, and it’s critical to figure out why it’s there. We will be covering this material in depth in our next module, but for now, I would encourage your patient to seek a comprehensive uterine workup including a hysteroscopy and EFT or Receptiva test. You can continue to support her with her CM diagnosis while she undergoes these procedures and any necessary treatment.

InstructorJanuary 22, 2023 at 6:09 pm in reply to: Practice management: treatment frequencyYes! We can discuss this in our next office hours. The key is that patients will do what we ask them to do if we are confident about asking. You can only be confident about asking if you are confident that you can help, and your patient senses it.

Hi! Yes, we cover it in what will now be modules 5 & 7. Please post any questions here in the meantime!

InstructorDecember 15, 2022 at 1:28 pm in reply to: Affecting menstrual cycles while on birth control?Hi Anna,
Because birth control stops the menstrual cycle altogether (the bleeding she is having is breakthrough bleeding from stopping progesterone, aka “sugar pills”). So you really can’t “regulate” a cycle that isn’t a real cycle. But you can still treat her! Why did she go on OCP in the first place? What is her reason for coming to see you?

Hi Wim,
The formula I mentioned is called Sheng Hua Tang.
As far as your new patient, this isn’t enough information to offer any advice. Perhaps you could write up her case once you have consulted with her?
Warmly,
Laura
