I loved reading this exchange. Thank you both for sharing! This is such a fascinating part of the experience, and have often felt shades of this. I remember a friend and teacher of mine talking about having a “spiritual hangover” and I was so confused at first…until I had my own experience. Add in that this is the work we do, and not just personal exploration, it can become quite heavy. I love that both of you mentioned returning to what your body wants to do and following it. So beautiful.

Coming back to this. I had so much I wanted to share and then…..life happened.
But I did find a note from that day, another quote from Hung: “Confusion as unexpressed truths.” I remember we weaved through these unexpressed truths so beautifully that day, and now only a few days after our last small group meet up, seeing the ways in which we have shifted and moved since then, trusting the process.
And thank you Ellen, I don’t remember saying that!

Thank you so much for this guidance Lorie. You touched on many things that I have been musing about myself, especially around this being a “untapped, unregulated gift”.
I waited to respond while I integrated a few of your suggestions. I don’t have sesame oil yet, but I used Neem cream and the black spruce on kidney 1, then put on my wooliest socks before bed.
Since writing this up, I haven’t had any hallucinations.
I just recently began treatment with an acupuncturist for the first time and she brought up sleep at my second appointment When I told her what I experience (this was about two days after I received your reply), she told me I have “heart crack” on the tongue, and also mentioned blood deficiency.
When I mused further on your question regarding the gift of sight, I allowed myself to free write on this and my grandfather on my mother’s side came to mind as the spirit that wanted to be seen. I know there is a history of shock and trauma here, though I don’t know the details. My mother never spoke ill of him, but my dad has slipped a few details of what he witnessed.
I just wrote and acknowledged what I remember of him, feeling into what aspects want to be remembered. Walks on the beach, picking up flower rocks.

Hung, reading your words here after being with you in lab group – hand over heart. I see that lone crusader, and you looking around at those with you on this journey. After our lab group, I kept thinking of us all having difficulty being with the gold.

I remember reading about the jasmine flower essence creation somewhere…on the network maybe?
We only moved a few blocks, even closer to my work. And closer to a natural valley that I love to go walk in.
I’m not sure yet what it means about partnering. We are planning a longer meeting in July with more details. I have this feeling of the open hand. I’m not attached to either outcome (even if my mind likes to say one way or the other at any given moment). Instead, I’m learning more about what pathways this body is determined to walk. I will keep you posted as more develops!

Our mother’s experiences are different; however, there are family secrets that I’m aware of, yet don’t know the details of. My mom passed in 2019 from metastatic cervical cancer. My reference to her wanting to be heard was regarding cancer treatment at the end stages (and likely other times of her life too). She wanted to be heard, yet had difficulty speaking up about the path she wanted to take. Her body ended up speaking up for her.

I dived into the webinar you recommended about Capricorn. Wow. What an honouring of the mythology of the sign! It integrated so much of my own personal research regarding Capricorn and my own chart.
I used to think I had a Pisces Rising because there was no good information on the depths of my relationship to water, based on my chart. My birth time is within minutes of the change, but a few years ago I found my birth time once again and it firmly placed me with Aqua Rising. I leaned into trusting my Water Bearer nature within the expanse of my Capricorn stellium, but this webinar took me deeper into the respect of Capricorn and the Capricorn journey through the psyche.
The mythology of Enki was particularly insightful as he basically described my role as a physical therapist problem solving the different abilities of humans. Being a bridge between the Abzu and the Sky God, the need for constant creation. Posting one slide from the webinar that I keep coming back too. I laughed at the piece about adulthood – since we were discussing this already!
Thank you again for recommending this webinar. I will be watching it multiple times!

I should add, I haven’t actually met them in person yet! I will one day! It was a random series of events that led me to connecting with them through instagram. (Sun/Uranus in the 11th house much? 😉)

Fauna (the horse in the painting) lives only about 30 minutes from where I was born – which is on Vancouver Island. Although I don’t live near them I appear to have some karmic ties with their person and the herd. There are three of them that I paint. In the painting below the order is Fauna, Ivan and Sumac. These horses have been energetic muses for me. Shannon (their person), calls me an artistic channeller. That I capture essence through etheric mediumship with her animals. This recognition was so meaningful! Yes, these are watercolour.
Ivan is actually Darach in the book. And the other two will be joining.

My teacher was Aliza Einhorn (MoonPluto Astrology), she used to teach small groups on Facebook. She introduced me to Caroline’s book. Aliza wrote a book on Saturn which I loved as a someone with so much influence from Saturn! This mentorship feels like a beautiful continuation of that alchemical process. I’m also a voracious researcher so look up all that I can. I remember my days working in my village library going through all the free courses on Astro.com, other sources on the internet, and books I could order in. I was also quite fond of Donna Cunningham’s work on the outer planets and stelliums. My own Uranus/Sun conjunction in Capricorn Stellium, and Aquarius Rising, all continuously point down that individuated path. Surprise and Awe in this embodied life.
