Thank you Lorne! Can I ask what the alumni program entails? I may have missed that information during the mentorship. Is there a post somewhere on it?

I have not done the 1:1 but would like to! I want to make sure I’m doing that correctly. What do I need to do for our mentorship group specifically?

    Hi, everyone!

I am excited to be a part of this mentorship program & to be a part of a community of practitioners who show up in clinic for the same things I do, day in day out. I graduated in 2012 and have been focused on women’s health, fertility, pregnancy, postpartum & pediatrics for a little over 7 years now. I have been to the IFS & have worked with several fertility practitioners in the ABORM world, but have yet to get certified given life circumstances & ironically being too busy helping people grow their families. The pandemic has helped me to see how much I want to prioritize self-care & personal growth; so, I intend to utilize this program to make that step to sit for the ABORM exam in 2023.

I own and operate a wellness center with my partner in both life & business in Fort Collins, CO. We have a beautiful 6 year old who I’m pretty convinced is made of magic (with a dash of spice, of course 😉 ). Our little family loves to hike, snowshoe, ski, hot spring, climb & adventure in general. We love our fur babies as well & have our pup at the office daily.

Thank you for this opportunity <3 I am looking forward to growing, thriving & revitalizing my clinical spirit.

    Hi Lorne,

Thank you for engaging! Here is a picture of the TCM meridian clock that I was referring to. I always learned that going to sleep by 11pm allowed you to process & heal better given that it begins the gallbladder and then liver time. In my practice, taking pressure off the liver system is almost always the first step in supporting fertility and gynecological goals. When I tell patients this and discuss growth hormone (which is mainly produced while we are sleeping) as key to hormonal regulation, egg quality, etc, it really seems to click. So, this is why I was curious if Laura had some extra insight for us about how this comes together in her practice.
