Hi Ethel,
This is definitely a Luo case. In fact it is one of the worst examples of Luo pathology I have seen recently. If you cannot bleed these vessels because it is not in your scope of practice, then you must focus heavily on the harmonization and circulation of blood. This might also be handled in the absence of bleeding with the 8EV.
I also would strongly address circulation in the chest.
Sorry you’ll be missing the office hours but happy you are helping others.

Glad to help. I think this patient is likely to surface again when we get to the Divergents and 8 EV. She is going to teach us all some very important things.

Hi Teresa,
Great picture. This condition I believe is typically caused by cold or spasm. Although this is evidence of impaired circulation, it is not necessarily a sign of latency in the luos. The fact that it clears after a short while is somewhat diagnostic. On the other hand I suppose given the rest of your statement, it might be something you see with emptying of the luos. The nodules seem more diagnostic to me.
When we create latency for survival we will fund that latency so this mottling you are seeing would be more permanent. It could increase or decrease depending on stress levels but it is unlikely it would disappear, unless it left behind some superficial vessels.

Welcome Janneke! So thrilled to see someone from the Netherlands in our little group. If you get stuck on the English, feel free to post your questions here and we will do our best to facilitate your understanding.
It must present some challenges to translate all of this. Glad to see you make the effort. Let me know if I can help.

Hi Leigh,
So glad to see you here. Looking forward to many discussions about the impact of trauma (adversity) on patients.

Hi Amy,
I spent Saturday in Palm Springs with 3 other acupuncture friends and we were all reminded through our conversation, how amazing this medicine is. That’s why I feel like having the opportunity to ponder what is possible with acupuncture is so important. The community building is so necessary now, I think. Looking forward to getting to know you better.

Melinda,
Sorry for the loss of your Dad. I hope you find comfort and support in the group. Looking forward to having your perspective on death and dying in the course. Seems timely. I hope you will share that perspective with us. xo

Hi Suzanne,
I am a happy hermit too. Stretch yourself as much as you are comfortable. It isn’t necessary for you to share anything. I do hope you will ponder the homework and ask questions if you need clarity.
I am not hoping for people to change, only that they will embrace more of who they are. xo

Hi Alex. I am so happy you’ll be joining us. You are in a unique position to deepen the conversation as we go forward. I hope you participate in the discussions as we go forward. xo
